MSJR is a dynamic band from Pittsburgh, PA, blending Reggae, Rock, and Jazz Fusion into a sound that’s both soulful and energetic. Since their inception, MSJR has gained recognition with performances at notable events such as Root in the Forest 2026, Spring Threestival 2026, Lion Heart Music Festival 2025, One Earth Reggae Festival (25,26), Valley Vibes Music Festival (25,26), Funky Fest VI 2025, Millvale Music Festival (25,26), Asbury Park PorchFest 2024, Boise Hempfest 2024, The Great American Banana Split Celebration (24,25), Fort Ligonier Days (24,25), Movement on the Mountain 2024, SummerSounds (23,25), and JamBrewzle 2023. They also had the honor of opening for Afroman at The Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh, sharing the stage with HR of Bad Brains, Sister Nancy, Mike Love, Sensamotion, Mike Pinto, Jah Works, Kyle Smith, Joe Samba, Iriespect, Elephants Dancing, FUBAR, LNJ Sessions, Layton Meacham, Errol Wizdom Band and more to come. With each performance, MSJR continues to honor Michael’s memory and bring their eclectic, heartfelt music to a growing audience.
